Our maritime industry client based in Burntisland are seeking a Group HSEQ Manager for a full-time, permanent position. The Group HSEQ Manager will advise our client’s board and its directors on matters of QHSE and the Company’s performance against its plans and policies.
The role would allow for flexible working arrangements with a requirement to visit our client’s offices a couple of times per month.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT

Effectively lead the QHSE team and ensure that they are always acquainted with each other’s responsibilities and projects.

Assume responsibility for the development and implementation of an integrated quality, environmental and safety management system to ISO international standards, and other standards as requested for the group and assist in the subsequent maintenance of all external accreditations.

Prepare and deliver regular and exceptional reporting to the board.

Assume responsibility for developing and maintaining safety cases for the client’s fleet and ensure compliance with the ISM Code where appropriate.

Ensure accurate and timely reporting of accidents, incidents, near misses, and safety observations, and ensure appropriate follow-up investigation and reporting.

Support new business and formation and development of HIRA as required throughout the business.
JOB DESCRIPTION

NEBOSH diploma , NVQ Level 6 in OHS or equivalent.

Internal Auditor qualification.

Evidence of continued professional development.

Working knowledge of ISO international standards.
