We have a great opportunity to join our client in Greenwich as an Industrialisation Manager on a full-time, permanent basis.
 
As the Industrialisation Manager, you will Coordinate all the industrialization activities at Greenwich to enable the product into the supply chain. This role ensures the seamless integration of new products into the supply chain. The Manager will lead a team of managers, overseeing the entire industrialization process from concept to production, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timeliness.

Essential:
  • 10+ years of team management experience.
  • Extensive global leadership experience with the ability to influence and leverage global resources to drive change.
  • Proven leadership skills are vital.
  • Extensive experience in supply chain and industrialisation.
  • Experience in project management, lean manufacturing, and cost optimisation.
  • Ability to build trust, set exacting standards of performance, focus on the end customer, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work autonomously with excellent reporting and communication capabilities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience in leading and managing change within an organisation.
  • Strong collaborative teamwork skills.
Desirable:
  • Master II/Diploma in Supply Chain Management or relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success with entrepreneurial initiatives requiring ambiguity, flexibility, and resilience; prior experience building a team is ideal.
  • Good understanding of business value in the supply chain.
  • Good overall knowledge of submarine products.
  • Experience working in a multicultural environment and sensitivity to diverse cultures.
  • Proficiency in additional languages, especially French, is highly desirable.
JOB DESCRIPTION
 
Manage the Engineering Department:
  • Lead the Engineering department at GH, focusing on WET plant products.
  • Ensure team alignment with company goals and objectives.
Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager:
  • Collaborate closely with the Supply Chain Manager to qualify and introduce new products/processes in line with the manufacturing plan.
  • Ensure that all project development milestones are achieved.
Financial Management:
  • Oversee CAPEX and OPEX targets and ensure adherence to financial plans.
  • Monitor and control expenses to stay within budget.
Governance, Compliance and the Standardisation of Procedures:
  • Establish and uphold governance processes, policies, and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement standard procedures within the Supply Chain Engineering (SCE) department.
  • Ensure consistency and efficiency in all engineering processes.
Enhance SCE Efficiency:
  • Create synergies across the team to drive efficiency.
  • Develop and implement action plans to improve performance.
Business Performance Improvement:
  • Identify and address business performance issues.
  • Initiate and lead initiatives/projects aimed at improving business performance.
Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions:
  • Champion root cause analysis and corrective action processes across various engineering functions.
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to prevent recurrence.
Support Digital Transformation:
  • Create a Data Platform to enable Analytics, AI/ML, and develop a Supply Digital Twin for 24/7 self-service access to SC information.
  • Foster the adoption of digital tools and technologies.
Talent Development:
  • Coach and mentor team members to develop the next generation of industrial leaders.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Technology Advancement:
  • Keep up-to-date with new technologies to forecast and prepare for the next generation of products.
  • Collaborate with the transformation manager to integrate new technologies.
Global Improvement Initiatives and Business Continuity:
  • Lead global improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency, product performance, cost reduction, and quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement projects across the organisation
  • Ensure continuous support for manufacturing and new project development.
  • Develop strategies to mitigate risks and ensure operational stability.
Implement SCE Strategy:
  • Develop and execute the SCE strategy at GH.
  • Align departmental goals with the broader organisational objectives.
